This is most definitely not a Marvel film... 

Artik is leading a reclusive life with his family in the back country, growing fields of sunflowers, pushing the foster children around and collecting comic books. But his comic book obsession goes further than most, as he is on a search for the ultimate hero and will stop at nothing to find him. Sadly all the alleged heroes that he finds fail to reach Artik's high seal of approval when he captures them. When kind-natured straight edge stranger, Holton, passes through town, and helps one of the lost foster children, however, he finds himself right on Artik’s casting call of heroes. Just how far can a hero go in a world where villainy thrives. 

Drenched in dread and a torridly bleak world view, ARTIK will dig its grimy nails under your skin and refuse to let go as it pits two warring moralities against each other in a bloody showdown between some of indie horrors most recognisable faces. And if you loved Matt Mercer from last years festival as much as we do, maybe don't get too attached this time around...
